1:1 Reading Tutoring for Struggling Readers-Dyslexia Friendly

I use the dyslexia-friendly Phono-Graphix method for teaching reading. You can learn more about Phono-Graphix at phono-graphix.com. Based on the results of the reading skills test that is given in our first session, students will work on any reading skill they struggle with, or topics the parent requests. ⚡️ I adapt quickly and can change tactics on the fly as necessary. Sometimes during lessons, we discover new strengths or weaknesses as we go. 📝 Reading Assessment: The student will be given a reading skills test to determine which skills they need the most help with. Parents are provided with the results of the test. The reading tutoring session is designed around the student's needs, targeting phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, fluency, spelling, test-taking skills, and much more! 📚 Students will be able to use Accelerated Reader leveled books during the sessions to track their progress and choose from a variety of engaging and interesting online books.
