By the end of this 3-week drawing class, learners will build foundational drawing skills such as sketching shapes, outlining, shading, and coloring. They will gain confidence by creating Squishmallow-style drawings like a fox, dragon, or unicorn, or bringing their own creative ideas to life, while learning how to break drawings into simple, step-by-step parts. Students will also practice attention to detail and express their creativity in a fun, supportive environment.
- Welcome and introduction :) - Brief overview of different Squishmallows squads. - Introduction to basic drawing techniques and materials. - Draw a simple, round Squishmallows using basic shapes. - Emphasis on outlining and understanding proportions.
- Introduction to the "Ocean Squad" Squishmallows. - Learn to draw two Squishmallows inspired by marine life (e.g., a cute fish and a smiling sea turtle). - Focus on incorporating ocean elements like waves and bubbles.
