An introduction to high school Biology

Students will learn the basics of high school-level biology, such as Cell Structure and Function, Genetics, Evolution, Human Anatomy, and Physiology. Students will learn through cell models, comprehensive lectures, phylogenies, and examinations. This class is best suited for Junior High / Middle School students, looking to get ahead, as well as High school students looking to improve their biology skills or simply refresh themselves for AP Biology.

What You Will Learn

By the end of this course, students should: Understand the basics of cell organelles, layout, and functions. Understand DNA structure, the study of genes, and heredity. Understand the process of how biological systems change over time, be able to draw conclusions, and create phylogenies. Understand the layout, structure, and basic function of the body's organ systems, such as the skeletal, muscular, nervous, and cardiovascular systems. Hopefully gain a passion for biology and medicine.
