In this remote class for ages 4 - 5, students will build basic math and life skills in a patient, respectful, and caring environment. At the beginning of each class, we will start with short, age-appropriate breathing exercises to help students feel calm, focused, and ready to learn. Lessons focus on reading, speaking, basic math, and real-life problem solving to build confidence and independence. I truly enjoy supporting children in ways that help them feel happy, cared for, and excited to learn, and I look forward to creating a positive, meaningful, and fun learning experience together. Sitting for long periods can be tiring, so breaks and movement support students’ well-being. Even online, I create a calm, nurturing space where every child feels respected and encouraged.
Students begin with breathing exercises and gentle movement to support focus and self-regulation. The lesson introduces body awareness, following directions, and preparing physically and mentally for remote learning.
The lesson starts with breathing exercises, followed by counting, number recognition, and comparing amounts using real-life examples. Students also practice listening, turn-taking, and respectful participation online.
