Students will learn to independently decode assignment prompts, brainstorm effectively, and create strong outlines. They will master strategies to structure paragraphs, integrate simple research, and self-edit their work. The goal is to transform homework anxiety into confident, proactive problem-solving. The class is a live, one-on-one coaching session structured around the student’s actual assignments. Each meeting follows a clear workflow: we first decode the instructions, then strategize an approach, and finally draft a key section together. I teach interactively using discussion, shared documents, and real-time editing—there are no pre-recorded lectures or slides. This personalized, conversational method ensures your child not only completes their work but truly understands the process, building lasting academic confidence and skill.
In this first live coaching session, the student will bring their specific assignment. I will guide them to decode complex instructions, brainstorm original ideas, and create a powerful, custom outline. We’ll use shared documents and interactive discussion to transform confusion into a clear, actionable plan for success, building critical thinking and planning skills.
This second session turns the plan into excellent work. We’ll draft the strongest opening and key paragraphs together through live editing. I’ll teach essential techniques for polishing prose, integrating evidence, and self-reviewing. Your child will leave with a nearly complete, confident draft and the skills to expertly finish any future assignment.
