About Yasmin Rios Delgado
I studied at California State University, Long Beach, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Art Education. My time there helped me build a strong foundation in art instruction, creativity, and teaching strategies that support diverse learners. My interest in education began when I was in middle school, and it continued to grow throughout my college experience. Through my studies, I learned how to design engaging lessons, encourage creativity, and support students both in art and in core academic subjects. I am a creative and passionate educator who has been interested in teaching since middle school. My love for creativity and learning inspired me to pursue a career where I can help students express themselves through art. As a mother of three, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a supportive environment where children feel confident exploring their ideas. In my current role, I assist students in core classes, helping them build confidence and strengthen their academic skills. I enjoy designing engaging lessons that inspire imagination, develop artistic abilities, and encourage a lifelong appreciation for creativity.
