
This AP Psychology course helps students master the most-tested AP Psych concepts, build strong vocabulary, and improve performance on multiple choice + FRQs. We’ll focus on understanding (not memorizing), learning how to apply terms correctly, and practicing the writing style the AP exam expects.

Understand major AP Psych concepts across core units (research, cognition, learning, etc.) Use key vocabulary accurately (and avoid common term mix-ups) Answer AP-style multiple-choice questions with better reasoning Write clear, correct FRQs using proper psychological terms Create an effective study plan and improve test scores over time
We’ll start with how the AP exam is structured and what earns points on FRQs. Students will learn core research methods, variables, experimental design, ethics, and common mistakes. We’ll practice quick MC-style questions and a short FRQ using correct vocabulary.
Students will learn major brain structures and what each part controls (in a simple, test-friendly way). We’ll cover neurons, neurotransmitters, and how the nervous system communicates. We’ll finish with a practice set focused on applying terms, not just memorizing definitions.
