About Riya Chandra
Hi! I’m Riya, a freshman at UC Berkeley studying Rhetoric on a pre-law track. I tutor English/Language Arts, writing, reading comprehension, and history/social studies, with a focus on helping students organize their ideas and communicate clearly. I’ve led writing-focused programs through community literacy work and served as President of my school’s literary magazine, so I love helping students strengthen both academic writing and confidence. My sessions are structured, supportive, and focused on building skills students can use independently in school.
