My lessons focus exclusively on SAT Reading. I help students build the skills the test actually measures comprehension, evidence use, vocabulary in context, and rapid reasoning under time pressure. Alongside content instruction, I teach individualized test‑taking strategies, show students how to break down each question type efficiently.

The goal of this course is to boost SAT scores. Every student has different strengths and weaknesses so I make sure to present all information in lectures, but also keep time for open discussions to understand each students necessary areas of improvement. Assessments are often given to get experience with the real test and used to the time constraints, all assessments are college board sanctioned. After each test material will be given individually to each student that is catered to their needs.
First day of the reading curriculum. Structure of the reading/writing section, adaptive format, and question types.
Explains the idea of craft & structure. Understanding how to read passages. Words in context, tone, author purpose, and rhetorical analysis.
