Students will learn what makes a strong personal statement and what to avoid (clichés, résumé repeats, generic themes). We’ll brainstorm topics and pick a direction that highlights voice, growth, and reflection.
We’ll create an outline with a clear beginning, middle, and end so the essay has structure. Students will begin drafting with support on openings, pacing, and detail.
